My introduction

Who am I?

My name is Eino Hummel I am a student at landstede MBO Zwolle and I study Software development.
I was born in Emmen on the 29th of November in 2006.

Reasons I got to programming

When I was in my first year of the middle school I followed, what seemed to me a very interesting subject: Technology.
During this subject I spent two weeks of programming with a microcontroller, I enjoyed this a lot and my needed skills were very fast at the beginning. But then there was one bit I got stuck and couldn't get any further. I searched everywhere on the internet to find a solution to this problem but to my dismay I couldn't find anything. When that didn't work I eventually went to the teacher and told him about my problem. He just told me that I didn't look hard enough. The teacher wouldn't help me and I got frustrated, because I was the furthest of the whole class so I couldn't get any help from my classmates either. Then I went back to the teacher to explain that I really couldn't find it but there was a long waiting line and was sent back. He said I had to help others while waiting for my turn, but my turn never came. so I came to the conclusion that if I couldn't do it at school I would dig into it deeper at home. Because I enjoyed the programming and seeing the results that come out. And what i also enjoyed with those assignments was Helping others. I got myself an Arduino and started on my own. That was when I began to think about studying to become a software developer.

Hobbies

My hobbies are Programming with an Arduino. The project I work on is making a working Hexapod. (link) That includes: programming and printing the Hexapod and my second hobby, which is 3D modelling and printing.(link) With that I can make the torso and the legs of the Hexapod. The printing takes time and that is where my third hobby comes in. My third hobby is gaming, (games I play) I don't necessarily game that often but while the printer is working I can't do anything else so I game to pass the time. My computer is next to my 3D printer so I can also keep an eye on my prints.(foto)

Work

I have had several jobs because I find it very important to pay for my own needs, like for example my first Arduino. currently I work for a large non food discount shop. To me it is important to learn how to work with customers and get along with colleagues.

Sport

I am not really a sporty type, but I know that my health is important therefore I am doing some fitness at home to keep myself in shape. I do like to watch sports especially Formula 1, I am a big fan of Max Verstappen.
